Rocky the Otterhound: Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!

This year has seen a decent snow fall for this part of the country (a bi decade event)! As it is such a rare happening here, we do not have sufficient infrastructure to enable life to proceed as normal. So while some of us struggled to work; others (the lucky ones - such as children and pets) got to have fun with the white stuff – all week!!!

Rocky and Rosie have had the time of their lives so I am beginning the blog with some photographs; in order to share some of their fun with you. These were taken over the course of the week, at differing times of the day, in snowstorm and clear weather. They are in no particular order and as you glance through, I hope you enjoy them as much as our bouncy Otterhounds enjoyed their new snowy world!

To finish there will be just a few photo’s of our Otterhounds at home!

A Rocky mad fit!

Rosie in a snow storm.

Rosie with a cold snout.

Rocky wondering what on earth it all is?!

The daring duo investigate.

Rocky's Father Christmas disguise.

The daring duo have captured a stick.

The boxing match.

A duet of mad fits!

And back again!

I've no idea what Rosie's doing!?

Ah, the mini mad fit.

The charge of the Otterhound Brigade.

And back again.

"Mummy there's a snow man"!

A game of tag.

Rosie is loosing .....

"I know Rosie was in here somewhere"!

More charging of the Otterhound Brigade.

And back again!

Wrestling.

"I see no ships"!

Rosie post playtime.

"Come play with me"!

"It's warm in here"!

"It's in here somewhere, honest"!

Chase .....

And back again.

The stand off.

More chasing.

The ambush!

The wrestling continues.

"Go on, bet you can't get past me" ......

"what is this stuff anyway" .....

"can you eat it"?

All the youngsters in the family have enjoyed the fun and games ……..

………. They have also enjoyed being able to relax in their warm and comfy home …………..

………. Some have enjoyed the warm more than others of course! ………..

……. And while Rosie is growing into a pretty young lady (well, as close as an Otterhound can get to a young lady!) ………

…….. Rocky just gets cuddlier and more handsome every day ……

……… Home has definitely been for relaxation and recovery after a jolly good romp in the snow this week ……..

For some quiet time and sharing jokes with a best friend ……..

……… Or just for cuddles ……

….. It’s also good for catching up on a good TV programme or two ………

You can have comfortably tired puppy naps or ………

……… The sleep of the worn out and happy young!!

Night night Rocky ……..

Dream of lots of snowy fun!!
