"I must say it looks nice out there, all sunny and bright"!
"It's called an Indian Summer Rocky, you know .... when we don't get one during so called summer but it comes in early autumn"!

In order to stop their brains from hurting by thinking too much ....... we took them to the water meadows.
Rocky was happy ........
......... And Rosie was happy .............
Two happy Otterhounds!
Lovely day, lovely countryside and lovely water!
There was, of course, plenty of smells for their scenting bones .........
........ And still plenty of new places to explore!
...... Not too sure why Rosie is looking like this? ........ What is she doing with her ears?????
Anyway, Rockie thought he would check out the river .........
....... "Not likely ....... That looks cold"!!!
"I'll just take a peek over here instead".
Where-ever "Me" goes ....... "Mini Me" is bound to follow!
"Birds ...... No ...... They're going away ..... Ooooh"!
"Never mind .... Plenty more to seek out"!
"Ooer, Now THEY look interesting"!
'what's that then Rocky"?
"Mum says they're called cows".
"They don't look very big Rocky".
"Or are they just far away"?
"They don't look very big Mommy"
"No dear, they're just far away"!
As the cows weren't doing anything very exciting, our two hero's got back to the serious business of scenting.
Steady there, you nearly got close to the wet stuff again ........
"What do you think Rocky, should we go in for a paddle"?
"Naw, let's leave it for now"!
Eventually, as the walk wore on, our two intrepid explorers got closer and closer to the wet stuff ..... Inevitable really ..... Providing you let them hang around long enough!
"Well ...... It's not so deep here ...... I suppose if you really want to .......".
"This is fun Rocky, just like being on holiday again".
"Mmmm, yes .... But it's still wet"!
"Must shake, must shake ..... got my nose wet"!!!
"Yeah, alright ..... I'm starting to have fun too"!
"Look at me Rosie ... I'm getting ever so deep now".
"Ooh, what's that"?
"Yuk ....... Wet again"!
"See if you can catch a fish Rosie"!
"OK ....... What's a fish"?
"I seek them here" .........
"I seek them there" ...........
"Got you ......... Rat's missed"!!!
"I'm going to get you" ........
"Yes"! ........ "No"! ....... "Oh these are so slippery"!
"Daddy look ...... I'm all wet"!
Time to head for home ......
A quick shake to get the most of the water off ....
